"Matchless Love" was written by Karla and several of us cried the first time we heard it. She had heard an evangelist preaching a moving message about the love of God. When he made the statement, "Oh, matchless love…," she was struck by that thought. She jotted it down in her notebook. A few months later during the Easter season, she came across the statement and sat down to write this tender ballad.

This one is a testimony of the incredible love Jesus showed by dying on the cross for us. Karla, whose powerful voice carried us on many of the other tunes, mutes that power to sing the moving solo on this song.
