Karen is the number three Gordon Sisters. She and her childhood sweetheart, Mark, are parents to daughters Karly, Dana and Destiny, sons-in-law Josh, Andy and Reymond, and grandparents to Tyrus, Alexis, Carsten, Dominque and Josiah. Karen works as an editor and publicity consultant for Publicity Connections.

She's also been very involved in the parent organizations at her daughters' large public schools and done a fair amout of freelance writing through the years. Karen praise-sings at our home church and is taking a break from many years as both a Sunday School teacher and a Bible Quizzing coach. Karen has also recently become a consultant for Pampered Chef and is enjoying meeting all of the new people at her shows!
