Chorus
Words and Music by: George Weiss/Bob Thiele
Featuring: Karen Hemmes, Karla Trevino, and The Gordon Sisters
"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Psalm 8:3-4
Dedicated
to: Karla and Karen. Even in the midst of life's struggles, we know that
God has created a wonderful world and we choose to celebrate its beauty.
About the song: Some would argue that the world is mostly an unhappy
place filled with evil. But God's creation, in the beginning (before sin entered
into the picture), was filled with beauty. At Christmastime, we get a small
glimpse of His wonderful world.

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies
of blue, clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The colors
of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you
I hear
babies cry I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world
